Kermase was a radical bookshop initially located at 64 Liverpool Road, Newcastle Under Lyme, before moving to 9 Market Arcade.
It was known for its extensive book collection of 10,000 titles specialising in leftist politics, literature, local interest, women's studies, and gay studies.
Kermase also had a wholefood shop on the premises and a coffee machine with a seating area.
