John Buckle Centre, previously known as Progressive Books and Periodicals, was renamed in honour of John Buckle, the founder of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), after his tragic death in an air crash on November 27, 1983.
The shop closed in 2010.
The Centre served as the National Office for the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) and remained a pro-Albanian hub.
John Buckle Centre offered a wide range of literature on Marxism, Leninism, and Communism which were available in various formats including magazines, CDs, and videos.
