Aye-Aye Books is a small independent bookshop located in the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) on 350 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
It was originally established in 2007 at Glasgow Sculpture Studios located in the Briggait on Bridge Street. The shop moved to its current location in 2008.
Aye-Aye Books specialises in books by and for artists, activists, and thinkers, featuring a lovingly curated selection of fiction and poetry, children's books dedicated to diversity, magazines, journals, zines, pamphlets, and LP records supplied by Last Night From Glasgow.
It serves as Glasgow’s only specialist contemporary art bookshop.
Aye-Aye Books aims to foster understanding of the world, addressing its complexities and the forces that shape it. It also engages with the community through various events and has become a hub for those interested in arts and social change.
Aye-Aye Books are members of the Alliance of Radical Booksellers.
