Under the guidance of individuals such as Felicity Fuller, the bookshop managed an extensive stock of 8,000 titles, specialising in subjects like socialism, feminism, disarmament, trade unions, and politics.
It also distributed Labour Party literature and merchandise, making it an essential resource for those within the Labour movement.
This focus on educational and political literature helped to increase the knowledge base and ideological commitment of Labour Party members and supporters.
