The Labour Party Bookshop operated only on Saturdays and was not a full-time bookshop. The bookshop specialised in socialist, women's, Third World, peace, and environmental literature. It also sold badges and postcards.
They brought displays and stalls to the Labour Party and other socialist meetings, as well as peace and women's group meetings. They also offered mail-order services..
