SW Books in Scotland was a literature depot rather than a bookshop, connected to the Socialist Workers' Party, or the International Socialists as it was known between 1962 and 1977.
Around 1975, the International Marxist Group (IMG) and the International Socialists (IS)/Socialist Workers' Party (SWP) shared premises upstairs, separated only by a partition. Members from both groups would sneak through and take each other's books.
