Ujamma Bookshop, previously known as Black Community Action before its official opening, stocked a range of fiction and political material.
Ujamma Cooperative Development, at the same address, was reported as carrying 1000 titles specialising in peace and conflict, development issues, human rights, the environment, and multicultural studies.
Their services included mail order, library supply, and organising public meetings, talks, and displays on development education.
